A Guinness record was achieved by planting 5366 native seeds by 2836 students at Avanaipor village near Tindivanam.
On 17-12-17 a workshop on Organic farming was conducted at the girls higher secondary school for Deaf children, for students of Qaid-e-Milat college, enabling 250 participants from the college to learn benefits about Organic way of Farming.
On the 28-9-17, Maaruvom Maatruvom conducted a Workshop on Organic Agriculture and Farming at the CSI girls higher secondary school for Deaf children at a cost of Rs 20,000/ for around 75 children.
A terrace garden based on organic farming workshop was conducted at Idhayavaasal, a home for the elderly in Palikarnai. Around 38 people participated in this workshop.
