It is very clear that over 50% of our organic native seeds have been replaced by hybrid seeds and it’s high time to conserve our native organic seeds.
While every parent in India focuses on giving a bright future to their children, they miss out the fact of gifting a healthy lifestyle to the future generation.
To propagate this fact, Aari has initiated the project “Nanum Oru Vivasayi” (I am alsoa Farmer), where he promotes growing one’s own food through Terrace Gardening.

Native Seed Bank - Seed Storage Bank and Research Centre to protect and re - cultivate native seeds.
Terrace Gardening - Help each household sufficiently grow their own food.
Workshops for Farming - Spread awareness by conducting training programs and workshops for students, corporate and green-enthusiasts.
Tamil Nadu is on the brink of losing its native organic seeds. “Maruvom Mattruvom” conceptualized by actor Aari, is a green initiative designed to conserve our precious seeds.
With the grand event scheduled on August 12th 2017, we are ready to throw more light on saving seeds.
Our aim is to educate the public through several programs and other support initiatives.
The event is a ‘Guinness’ attempt to sow organic native seeds at the same time involving over 20,000 members in the memory of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s Vision 2020.
A similar Guinness attempt was done a month ago in China by their Government. We are breaking this attempt with in a month’s time.
